Our Research

Bridging the gap between science and practice

We study how native plants cope with the pressures of climate and anthropogenic change. Our goal is to improve restoration in the vast and beautiful Great Basin, while also training the workforce that is directing science on the ground.

Why this work matters

We’re Keeping Nevada’s Landscapes Wild

We explore how native plants adapt to changes in their environment, using evidence-based methods for conservation and restoration. Our goal is to preserve plant diversity in Nevada's wild landscapes and find effective ways to restore it when lost.
